Description
The Sadelio is made for riders who spend hours in the saddle and refuse to be sore. Its 3D-printed surface is made of hundreds of open lattice cells that spread your weight over independent flexible micro-zones, where a classic saddle puts everything on two sit bones and your soft tissue.
In a New Zealand summer, that open structure matters twice: no closed foam pad trapping heat and sweat under you, and a saddle you can rinse with the hose when you get home.

Where is it made?
Sadelio is a French brand. Each saddle is 3D-printed by our manufacturing partner, which specializes in lattice printing, and ships directly from its production warehouse to you. That's how we keep a pro-level 3D saddle at a fraction of the pro price.

Summer is when you ride the most. And when your saddle hurts the most.
Longer days, longer rides, more heat. A classic saddle concentrates your weight on two points; add a hot summer day and a closed foam pad, and the hot spots arrive early.
- Numbness creeping in after 50 km.
- Standing up every ten minutes on the bunch ride.
- Heat and sweat trapped right where you sit.
- Cutting the ride short, on the best weekend of the year.
It's not your legs. It's your saddle.

Foam compresses. A lattice spreads.
"Comfort" saddles add foam, and more foam just sinks, traps heat and pinches again. The 3D structure does the opposite.
Micro-zoned support
Hundreds of independent cells flex where they need to: firm under the sit bones, soft where it's sensitive.
Wide central channel
Takes pressure off the most sensitive area, the same principle as the pro 3D saddles.
Open, so air gets through
An open lattice, not a closed pad: air circulates under you, and it rinses clean after a sweaty ride.
From the coffee ride to your first 200 km.

Bunch & coffee rides
Two to four hours on the wheel in front: spread pressure means you stay seated and in the group.

Gran fondos & long days
150, 200 km in the heat: where hot spots usually ruin the back half. The lattice keeps them away.

Gravel & dirt
Chromoly rails soak up the corrugations, and the open structure rinses clean with the hose.
Pro 3D technology. Not the pro price.

Everything riders ask before buying.
Will it be too hot in a Kiwi summer?
It's the opposite of a foam saddle: the surface is an open lattice, so air circulates under you instead of heat building up in a closed pad. After the ride, rinse it with water and let it dry.
How do I know it suits my anatomy?
No saddle fits every rider without trying, which is why you get 30 days of real rides. At 250 × 150 mm with a wide central channel, it suits most sit-bone widths (100–130 mm).
Men or women: is it the same saddle?
Yes, it's unisex, like the pro 3D saddles from Specialized and Fizik.
Harder or softer than foam?
Neither: progressive. Soft on the surface, firm underneath. It doesn't flatten over time like foam, and there's no break-in.
Where is it made?
Sadelio is a French brand. Each saddle is 3D-printed by our manufacturing partner and ships directly from its production warehouse to you, tracked from dispatch.
Will I pay anything on delivery?
No. Prices are in NZD, shipping is free, and there's nothing extra to pay on delivery.
How do returns work?
Email contact@sadelio.com within 30 days of delivery. Option 1: keep the saddle, send a photo and a line on why, and we refund 50% within 2–3 business days. Option 2: send it back (return postage at your cost) and we refund 100% within 2–3 business days of receiving it. One trial claim per customer. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
